Swag Giveaway and Interview with The Cover Contessa

I would like to welcome The Cover Contessa to our blog today and thank her for the generous donation.  I thought it might be nice to get to know a bit more about Brooke, so I am going to ask her a few questions.

1.  How long have you been blogging?
Almost 2 years (2 years in march).

2.  How did you come up with the name of your blog?  It's quite unique.
Oh boy, well, I knew I wanted to include some kind of book theme. And I'm big into using the same letters for things. I just think the same letters would go together. I loved the word covers, as I love covers. So I had to go looking for a word that would go with that. i wanted something that meant queen or emperor or something of that sort. So I found Contessa and it just fit.
3.  Do you have a favorite author?
I have several, not sure I can name just one. I would say my top ones are: Lauren Oliver, Jennifer Armentrout, Christine Fonseca, David Estes and Cassandra Clare.
4.  What is your favorite genre?
As a general rule, I love to read YA and I'll pretty much read any sub genre in that genre. I think I love sci fi or paranormal the best under that heading.
5.  Have you ever been asked to review a book that you just could not finish?
Quite a number of times. I hate not finishing, but sometimes it just isn't the right fit and what's the point of wasting my time and the author's if my review isn't going to be favorable b/c I push myself through it just to get to the end.

6.  How many books do you read in a week usually?
Anywhere from 2-4 depending on how much I like them. I can fly through a book if it sucks me in, or I can take my time if it's not quite as appealing.  Oh and recently I've been interspersing with novellas b/c they are quick reads and fun and break things up a bit
7.  What can we expect from your blog?
You can expect interviews, blog tours, honest reviews, promos, guest posts, guest reviews, giveaways and more. I pretty much will do anything involving promoting a book. I've even had a feature for interviewing bloggers in the past, though it didn't work out quite the way I wanted it to work out.
8.  I know you like Kellan Lutz (LOL), but who would be your favorite book boyfriend?
LOL! Yup, love me some Kellen. Oh it's a tie between favorite Aiden from The Covenant Series by Jennifer L Armentrout and Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare. I have many more, but those are my top two for sure.
Thank you so much Brooke for taking the time to let us get to know you!!    Here are a few links where you can follow The Cover Contessa.
