Review: I received this book free from Cleis Press Publishing in exchange for an honest review.
When I was first contacted to review this book I was a little hesitant because it's not a book that I would usually pick up, but because I am trying to expand my reading genres. When I received this book in the mail I couldn't get over the gorgeous cover is, I love it, it will look awesome on my bookshelf. My only issue with the book itself was I had a hard time figuring out exactly who the book was targeting. At first, I assumed that it was an adult novel, but then when I was reading it I figured it could also be YA because a lot of the things it was talking about I did as a teenager. I think the kisses the author talks about are very "obvious" kisses. I think everyone knows what an Eskimo kiss is haha. Also is want to admit I am one of the few who do kiss my significant other on the eyelid, the skin is just so soft there so if you haven't you should try. I do want to try out a few of the couples games, they look pretty fun. Also I liked that a quiz was included to say what type of kisser you are, and thoughtout the book it would refer certain things to you depending on your kissing type.
Kissing: A Field Gude was a really cute, fun read. I feel like I would recommend it to young girls who are just starting to date maybe. As a married woman I have done a lot of these things already haha. I did like how the author wrote the book with humor, this did keep things interesting to say the least.
