Blog Tour, Review and GIVEAWAY: Resisting Atlantis by Jamie Canosa

Title: Resisting Atlantis
Author: Jamie Canosa
Pages: 487
Format: ebook
Rating: 4/5 Stars
Summary: What if everything you think you know . . . is wrong?

Cora is your average college freshman. Battling the evils of boring classes and noisy dorms, her greatest concern is how to attract the attention of the drool-worthy, party-god next door.

That is, until Kaden comes barging into her life, insisting everything she knows is false. The family and friends she grew up with don’t exist. Her entire past a carefully-crafted fabrication, created to replace the truth.

Her name isn’t Cora, it’s Cameron. And she isn’t from New York. She hails from Atlantis. Yeah, that Atlantis. Oh yeah, and she’s psychic.

Crazy, right?

Except, tall, dark, and out-of-his-ever-loving-mind doesn’t come alone. Trouble follows, thrusting Cameron back into a world she can’t remember and a life she must reclaim if they’re going to make it out alive.
But there’s someone out there who doesn’t want her to remember.
Review: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, so I love Jamie Canosa as a writer and a person (yes, I have met her in person)so when I was offered a spot on the blog tour for Resisting Atlantis I jumped at the chance. Then when I actually read what the book was about (MYTHOLOGY AND PARANORMAL) I was even more ecstatic. Jamie has this amazingly descriptive writing style that allows the reader to become fully enveloped into any one of her stories. My only issue was the beginning was a bit slow for me but it did pick up later on. I also enjoyed all of the action and suspense. And I like that Jamie isn't afraid to kill off characters.
I enjoyed each and ever character that was introduced to us, even the bad guys because you could relate to them all. I like the bickering that goes on between Cam and Kaden and that I can also tell they are madly in love. I loved that we got to see little snippets of secondary characters POVs, it just reinforced that way they acting during the story. My little mini prediction is that Kaden is the last heir and that's why  Zanark took him so he could mold him into the ruler he wants.
So overall, Resisting Atlantis was a really original and entertaining read. I can't wait to see if my prediction is correct (Jamie don't go changing it if it am (; ). And honestly I can't not recommend any of Jamie's book to everyone!! They are all amazing (well the three that I have read anyways). So that means everyone needs to read them.
